Thinking About Remodeling your Bathroom?

Updated: May 15, 2018

Remodeling can be a complicated and overwhelming process, but it doesn’t have to be! We are always happy to talk through ideas and help you find custom solutions for your unique needs. Here are some tips to keep in mind as you consider remodeling:

1. Set your budget.

What do you like about your bathroom? What absolutely needs to change? What changes are negotiable? Does the room need to be gutted or simply updated? Are there issues, such as mold or mildew, that need to be considered in your budget?

2. Get an idea of what you want.

Check out local home shows, home interior magazines, and browse similar projects on Houzz.com for ideas.

3. Go green.

It’s better for the environment, your family, and often your wallet to go green. Green products tend to be designed with efficiency in mind which also lowers your utility bills. What can you reuse or recycle in your renovation efforts? Can you update that cabinet with a fresh coat of paint instead of tossing it out?

4. Be honest with yourself.

Which projects can you take care of yourself? Which ones are better left to the pros? What are your priorities for the remodel? Hiring a professional can save you lots of time, stress, and money, especially if you’re not exactly sure how to replace a toilet or re-tile the floor.
